Appraisals
|
As a certified appraiser and GIA (Gemological Institute of America) alumni, Mr. Richard Luna has been evaluating fine jewelry and Native American artifacts since 1967. His accreditations from the world's foremost authority in gemology, diamond grading, and colored stone research allowed him to accurately assess heirlooms and both private and museum collections. In addition to his experience as a member of ASA (American Society of Appraisers), Richard also served as consultant of Zuni Arts and Crafts Guild, judge for Santa Fe Indian Market's Pottery and Jewelry Division, and founding board member of the Indian Arts and Crafts Association (the world's leading American Indian Art Alliance). |
As a lecturer, collector, and appraiser, Richard has been responsible for promoting the understanding of Indian art locally and nationally. With the help of Kyoko Miyano-Luna, Graduate Gemologist of GIA specializing in pearls, de Luna Jewelers provides professionally documented appraisals of all precious gems and artifacts with upmost standards. De Luna Jewelers offers insurance, estate, as well as on-site appraisals. For further details, please contact or set up an appointment with Richard Luna: 521 Second Street |
